The grand opening of GE's first Innovation Center in Chengdu

May 30, Chengdu, China - the world's largest diversified companies General Electric (GE) company, today announced the world's first designed specifically for customer collaborative innovation institutions - the GE Innovation Centre China (Chengdu) was officially opened operations. This innovation center with a total area of 33,000 square meters, located in the rapid growth of China's western outskirts of Chengdu. The center will enhance the pilot of GE's global innovation strategy, to redefine the development of health care, energy, industry, business solutions, innovative ways to promote cooperation with customers.

China Innovation Center (Chengdu) put into trial operation since late March of this year. The completion of the center for the customers of GE in China (especially customers in the western and inland areas) to provide a more open communication and cooperation platform, to make it better able to GE's R & D engineers to cooperate and jointly participate in the development of GE new products and technology solutions.
