GE Shenhua Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established
May 10, 2012, Shenhua Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co., Ltd. and General Electric (China) Co., Ltd. a joint venture between Universal Electric Shenhua Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. in Shanghai held the opening ceremony and announced the set up, which marks the prelude to China and the United States opened in clean coal cooperation. Two sides are committed to build a high-tech company in R & D based industry, gasification technology licensing for industrial and power generation projects, engaged in research related to the gasification and clean coal technology, joint development of integrated gasification combined cycle power generation (IGCC) market.
